Game Boy Pocket Replacement Shell

Most of the items I get from HHL are great. However, Unfortunately this particular shell (white) was very subpar. It’s clearly one of the really cheap Chinese reproduction shells—the shell doesn’t completely fit/line up right, the plastic itself is very poor quality/flimsy and the screw kept stripping because of how soft the plastic was. Do not recommend.

I have ordered from HHL many times before and have always been pleased with their produced, this time was different though. I ordered a clear blue gameboy pocket shell, and it was such poor quality. The shells plastic seemed as though it was warped and the shell itself wasn’t well molded because the power switch was tight and so was the volume wheel. I’ve seen many reviews similar to this, so if you’re considering getting this shell I’d take a moment to consider other options.

This is my first mod of any kind on a game boy, and it was surprisingly easy and fun. Looking forward to a couple more projects in the future.

Always have to do some minor shaving of plastic here and there for the final look, but that's not HandHeldLegend's fault. Everything looks good.

I had to modify it for the Funnyplaying IPS mod, the plastic was very smooth to cut and feels solid to the touch like an original case.
